REALGINE SOLUTION / technical-review

Technical Product Review

Make the relationships between components, specifications, and open stakeholder questions easier to inspect and discuss.

SOLUTION SCOPE / 01

Put product structure in the conversation.

Bring product structure, component details, specifications, and stakeholder questions into a controlled technical presentation.

FOR PRODUCT, ENGINEERING & STAKEHOLDER TEAMS

Keep the discussion connected to the component.

A hardware team can use a reviewed assembly presentation to explain which part is being discussed and which product information applies.

One identified product revision
  1. 01

    Locate

Establish where the component belongs within the assembly.

  2. 02

    Inspect

Use prepared views and the approved technical references.

  3. 03

    Review

Identify questions for the responsible product owner to resolve.

Illustrative review process. Visual inspection is not engineering validation or certification.
  • Assembly context
  • Component detail
  • Approved references
  • Scoped part isolation
  • Revision context
  • Stakeholder review

PRODUCT REALITY / 02

Establish the product reference before the review.

We agree which revision, components, and technical information the presentation represents, and who approves that information.

  1. 01

    Review

Confirm source-file readiness, revision identity, review audience, confidentiality, and the questions to address.

  2. 02

    Build

Prepare the approved assembly, component views, reference content, and any scoped isolation or exploded states.

  3. 03

    Operate

Publish to the agreed review environment and check approved revisions before updating the experience.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE / 03

Product structure. In a shared visual context.

A presentation for technical discussion without asking every stakeholder to work inside a CAD authoring tool.

An approved assembly view.

Prepared product geometry with identifiable parts and the agreed technical detail needed for the discussion.

Focused review views.

Views and reference information organized around the components or relationships your reviewers need to understand.

A defined revision process.

An agreed source revision, content owner, and change-review process, with hosted delivery and support within scope.

Asset preparation, one-time setup, and ongoing service are scoped separately. Deliverables, product capacity, and update allowances are agreed before work begins.

Visual review is not a replacement for engineering tools.

Choose the level of presentation detail and access required by the review.

PRODUCT INSPECTION

Establish a common view.

  • Basic inspection and selection of prepared parts start with Viewer Essentials.
  • Launch can add guided technical explanations within scope.
  • Source readiness and information depth determine preparation work.

ADVANCED REVIEW

Expose the relationships.

  • Advanced supports separately scoped isolation, exploded views, and interactive motion.
  • Revision handling and stakeholder review follow the selected operating scope.
  • Private environments and governed multi-team access are evaluated through Enterprise scoping.

No CAD editing, tolerance analysis, simulation, automatic revision comparison, or engineering approval is implied by this solution.

BEFORE YOU START / 04

A few practical answers.

What this solution includes, what needs its own scope, and how to plan the next step.

Is this the same as the paid Reality Review?

No. Technical Product Review is a delivered product experience used to inspect and discuss technical information. Reality Review is a separate paid assessment that provides asset, complexity, deployment, and quote direction before a build. The initial inquiry itself requires no payment.

Can we use our CAD files?

CAD and existing 3D files can be assessed as source material. Their structure, size, materials, and permitted detail determine the preparation needed for a browser experience. CAD conversion and model preparation are not assumed to be automatic or included in base viewer fees.

Can it show exploded views or isolate parts?

Those are advanced capabilities that require prepared geometry and an agreed presentation. An exploded view illustrates a relationship; it is not a validated assembly sequence. Basic selection and highlighting do not include isolation or exploded-view work.

How do we handle confidential product information?

Agree an approved asset handoff and access requirements before sharing sensitive information. NDA workflows, private delivery, and formal security requirements are evaluated during enterprise scoping. Public inquiry forms are not a confidential file-transfer channel.
